How abundance can reach people

  3. Goods and services get dramatically cheaper to produce, so more of life is in reach.
  4. Society becomes far wealthier through automation.

None of this is automatic. Whether automation's gains are widely shared depends on policy, ownership and distribution. Musk has talked about UHI as a possibility; there is no funded government programme, and holding $UHI does not pay you that income.
